Cheque Presentation

Two of our Year 10 pupils, Natasha O’Connor, 10CN and Kerri Mc Cunnie, 10 DN are currently undergoing treatment for scoliosis. Kerri is involved in a course of intensive therapy and is based in London for the next month whilst Natasha has travelled to Turkey for treatment. Natasha underwent a 5-hour surgery on Wednesday 14th November, and has now embarked on a rehabilitation programme. She will be returning home next weekend.

The student body at HCC raised funds for both students by participating in a non – uniform day on Thursday 25th October. A fabulous total of £1800 was raised. A cheque for £900 was presented to Natasha and her mother, Mandy, on Friday 9th November, with a similar cheque being presented to Kerri’s grandmother on Monday 12th November.

We thank the pupils of HCC for their generosity and support and send our very best wishes and prayers to both Natasha and Kerri and their families. We look forward to welcoming both girls back to school in the not too distant future and wish them a full and speedy recovery.
